Dr. Luke Pratsides, MRCGP, MFCI – Health Advisor & GP
Luke Pratsides is a UK-trained GP who works at the intersection of frontline medicine and digital healthcare. He splits his time between seeing patients in a large London primary care group and advising on national digital projects at NHS England. Over the years, he worked across emergency departments, acute hospital settings, out-of-hours services, and ophthalmology, which gives him a well-rounded view of how care runs day to day. That blend of practical clinical experience and big-picture thinking helps him recognize what works, what falls short, and what truly supports both patients and staff.
Alongside his clinical role, Luke serves as a lead clinical advisor on digital transformation projects, particularly in urgent and emergency care. He holds memberships with the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and the Faculty of Clinical Informatics (MFCI), which reflect both his medical and digital expertise. He’s especially interested in how better design can improve patient understanding – including his research on post-consultation information for people with prediabetes. His approach is simple: build digital tools that actually fit into real clinical workflows, without adding noise or complexity.
